Massey Tape Head and other plug ins

www.masseyplugins.com/th.html

I read the Massey free demos topic and decided to download them. I am very interested in any opinion on TAPE/HEAD and the 'SATURATION' idea for digital recording. I believe that analog/tape recording has life in it that digital may lack and would like to get that life through a plug in like tape/head.

Does anyone have any experience or comments good or bad?

Also, does anyone have any comments on the Massey Compressor, limiter, or vt3 EQ?

thanks,
Paul

      thanks eRic.

What do you like better about AM TRACK? What are things that you listen for in a saturation plug in?

what i like about am-track is that and fully configurable. I mean fully! If you read the manual you can see that they looked at ever aspect of the tapehead/tape response. Unlike most plugs they allow you to modify it to your taste. See i want the good stuff about tape sound "the saturation" but not the bad for example frequency cutoff "uncontrolled lowpass/highpass".
Last year i was so so close to buying McDSP tape emulator but the le version has a 60hz cutoff that you can't change. i HATE things like that... The guys that make the samplitude stuff are really great for understanding desires like mine. It's the digitalfishphones guy... Now if you just want a quick go to plugin don't worry the presets are great as well...
