Not sure if this is the right Tribe but has anyone here had any experience building a Mobile sound system to pull behind a bike?

Just today, I hooked up a Mackie SRM 150 personal monitor with a built in mixer and amp. I plugged it into a 750watt inverter hooked up to a 12v mobile power pack battery. I ran it for 3 hours as a test with no problem and figure I could run it for 3 more hours on a fully charged battery.
I'm using it as a mini PA with mic. at a beach drum circle on the weekend.
On a bicycle trailer it would work well, You could use two speakers if you wanted to project in stereo. A solar panel and charge controller, could extend the battery life.

My friend Bubba pulled this off really well at Burning Man many times. It's kinda pricey though, I like the 12v mobile power pack idea because my friend used one of those small, Honda super-quiet 1kw generators.

He had a 3-wheeled bicycle and attached a small bicycle trailer. On it he had the generator, 2 JBL Eon self-powered 15" monitors, and an iPod with an 1/8" mini-plug out of the headphone outs on the Pod, split into dual 1/4". This thing is loud as hell!!

Ridiculously simple setup, but it requires that generator which costs at least $1000. If you can get the 12v pack, then get a power inverter to change the voltage to 120, and you should get the same type of power. But, that battery pack will run out pretty quick as noted from Xaliman.

The 12v mobile power pack was still working after 6 hours of powering the 110watt powered speaker. I got tired and gave up testing, so I plugged in the battery pack to recharge. It takes more than 12 hours to recharge from AC. I don't know how long photovoltaics would take to charge it.

For some reason, I come to think of they pedicabs that patrol the downtown San Diego area. Many of them simply have a 12V battery hooked up to a makeshift car stereo setup. Some even go as far as to hook up flashing lights. One guy had his gears rigged to work as an alternator to put some charge back into the battery as he pedaled down the streets.
