  i use the 002 and mix in the box.
  works for me. they're not the best
  but they are good. I have a tube pre for my mic, and tons of plug ins.

    thanks ik - out of curiosity, which tube pre are you using on the mic? i'm giving Universal Audio's Solo/610 a long hard look...

      I'm really getting into the Focusrite Voicemaster Pro. Every vocalist I've used it with, just loves the sound. I got it in a package with a Blue 'Bluebird' mic. Lot's of dials and controls designed just for voice but it also does wonders when I plug my guitars into it.

        i recorded a little 2 minute jive that's down there on this tribe if you want to hear what I did with the digi002, nothing special, but I did do some live guitar recordings.
        I usually make psytrance.
