So I'm having a Hell of a time trying to rewire Live into Digital Performer. Lives Rewire inputs just are not there in DP's input dropdown menus. Nor are they In the audio bundles section under instruments.
Ive read on a seperate forum "bigblueLounge" about a similar problem where they mentioned trashing Macs application data rewire Library files and then re-install each app. Tried it. Still no luck. Any ideas?
Also does anyone know if there's a Digital Performer Tribe on here? I searched but couldn't find.

i personally haven't had a problem with rewire in years. so although i can't tell you what's wrong with your current setup, i can tell you that they do work very well together.
i guess at this point you looked over your input choices and there is no reason inputs. and you know to open dp first and then open rewire.
i'll look over my settings 2nite and i'll let you know if anything comes to mind.

I finally figured out what the problem was. I have a Novation Remote SL Zero and I guess that after installing the "Automap Universal" software it sticks an "Automap rewire" file in os x's main rewire folder. As soon as I trashed that file and fired up DP the Ableton rewire inputs were magicaly there. SO, my conclusion that Automap Universal is bunk and still quite useless to me is still true. But now the added factor that it causes instabilities with other software and hardware (had conflicts with N.I. KORE and AutomapUniv.) just makes me want to uninstal it alltogether and just use Classic automap.
