My colleague, William Storkson, was teaching there. I don't know if he's still doing it.

I know that they were sharing space with Outpost Film on Folsom in SF.

That's the extent of my experience with them. :-)

A good friend of mine, Dave Earl, was working there last time I spoke with him. He's an amazing guy with tons of talent and experience. I think he teaches Logic there.

Dave Earl is a friend of mine, too, and I can say he is an absolute top notch Logic instructor. I can't specifically vouch for everyone else, but the owners, Matt Donner and Greg Gordon, are really cool guys and deserve any business they can get. They're not your typical greedy capitalist pigs.

I'm going to school there as we speak, in the DPC program.

Bill Storkson, Dave Earl, Matt Donner, Greg Gordon: all great people and great teachers.
Dave is a Logic Ninja, unbelievably skilled and fast. He's got all sorts of handy tricks up his sleeve,
and posts a lot of them on his YouTube account: www.youtube.com/profile
Steve "High-Tech-er" is the ProTools Samourai there, a great teacher and awesome guy.
The whole atmosphere at Pyramind is great, all these guys are always approachable,
and they'll give you their honest opinion on your tracks, which is always constructive.
You can go to Brian or Hideki for gear-related questions, and they'll help you figure out what gear/DAW best suits your needs.

I've been using Cubase for about 10 years before going to school here, and I thought I knew quite a bit.
I was wrong. After 3/4 year at Pyramind, I've learned more about Audio Engineering than in all the previous years.
The studio-pass is the coolest thing ever; once you get the basics, you get to book studio time every week,
and now there are even more studio's available to us, including the new 5.1 HD room at the second campus @ 832 Folsom st.
Pyramind is also very involved in the industry, and has already hosted several events at the new location, like
the SF Test Press Thursdays: www.pyramind.com/tpsf/tpev...events.php
They've started their own label, and also look among their own students for prospective releases.
Oh, and game industry giants like Sony go there for their interns.

If you need some skills, knowledge and networking,
and you want a lot of it,
    and you want it fast,
    you've gotta check 'em out.
