AFB16 = The same filters as in Q+ controlled by USB
namm.harmony-central.com/WNAMM...6.html
Anyone got it? Any luck getting it to work? It has been a nightmare for me!
I made a tribe for it tribes.tribe.net/afb16 which will be probably empty for some time but I'm going to post the newest drivers etc.
Looking for help or some rich collector wishing to buy it from me:)

Re: Waldorf AFB16
Fri, December 12, 2008 - 11:09 AMthis thing looks pretty cool, but probably will need a couple years of development before it works right, kind of like my virus ti keyboard. I've had numerous problems with it over the last 2 years, but 2008 has seen vast improvements in stability so i'm thinking of keeping the bugger.
waldorf seems a little late in the game to try to pull one of these off, especially with UAD, SSL, and the Powercore from TC Electronics dominating the market for outboard DSP. My PowerCore works flawlessly, I wouldn't trade it for the world (well, actually, i'll take the X8 version now thank you!) -

Re: Waldorf AFB16
Thu, December 18, 2008 - 3:15 AMWaldorf did this much earlier than the others and AFB is not DSP. Full analog except for the converters. Too bad nobody bought these devices and the whole company went bankrupt (though it is alive again).
