Tube mic

hello, would you happen to know what kind of tube is in my rode mtk microphone?
It's much smaller than my guitar amp tubes, and has a nipple at the top.
say's 95-4 on the side.
any ideas? I've had it for about 3 years and I definitely think it needs to be replaced.

      Found out that it's 6922 tube. Going to look into what that actually means . .

      What's your opinion on the 6922? Any suggestions on superior replacements?

        check out this thread about a tube "upgrade" for the NTK.
        you should be able to use a 12ax7 or 12at7 as well. You could also try a 6072a which is a slightly lower output tube than a 12ax7. There are some possibilities here, but I'm not sure you would hear a life changing improvement, maybe you could get a different flavor though. Could be fun.
